At KWETU Academy, we understand the importance of providing a fair and transparent cancellation and refund policy. This policy outlines the procedures for cancelling courses and seeking refunds based on different payment models.

Paid Upfront Courses (excluding Microcredentials) & certain Course Upgrades, Microcredential Courses, Subscription Access to Unlimited, and Subscription Access to ExpertTracks:

Refunds and cancellations can be processed based on specific conditions:

  • Request must be made within the 14-day cooling-off period, starting from the day of initial payment.
  • Tests must not be completed or attempted.
  • No Certificate of Achievement or Statement of Participation (digital or physical) should be received.

Cooling-off Period:

For Paid Upfront Courses and Course Upgrades:

  • If purchased before the course started, the cooling-off period begins on the first day of the course run.
  • If purchased after the course run started, the cooling-off period begins on the day of purchase.

For Microcredential Courses:

  • Refund is possible between the date of purchase and 14 days after the first microcredential course begins.

Subscription Access:

Refunds for Subscription Access to Unlimited and ExpertTracks are applicable under specific circumstances:

  • Within the 14-day cooling-off period.
  • No Certificate of Achievement or Statement of Participation received.

ExpertTrack Free Trial:

A 7-day free trial is available for Subscription Access to ExpertTracks. After the free trial, charges apply unless cancelled during the trial period.

Shop Products Refund:

For products purchased through KWETU Academy’s shop, refunds are possible under different conditions:

  • Cancellation within 14 days of receipt of the product or before shipping.
  • Products fulfilled directly by KWETU Academy or third-party sellers have specific refund policies.

Refund Requests:

Refund Issuance:

Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned product or confirming the refund eligibility. Refunds will be made to the credit or debit card used for the original payment.
